Education Management Corporation (EDMC) operates Brown Mackie College - Louisville. Of the 19 BMC campus sites, our oldest established school is over 120 years old. Brown Mackie College - Louisville was founded in Detroit in 1935 as RETS Institute of Technology. Today, Brown Mackie College- Louisville has one additional campus located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) nationally accredits Brown Mackie College - Louisville. Brown Mackie College - Louisville is authorized by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to issue Associate Degrees in Applied Business and Applied Science. Brown Mackie College - Louisville is registered with the Kentucky State Board of Proprietary Schools and is a member of The Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools. We offer one class a month and our smaller class size ensures that instructors have more time to spend with individual students during class. Classes are offered day and evening. Employment assistance is offered through our Career Services Department.
